Homemade Taco Seasoning in a Jar

Taco seasoning – Everyone should try keeping a jar in their spice cupboard. It’s so much more flavourful, is easy to make and stores so well!

Just a dash of homemade taco seasoning can totally change a meal. Or taco seasoning added to a big bowl of soup for a southwestern flair, and of course, simple ground beef tacos need it as well.

Ingredients
  

  • ▢ 7 Tablespoons Chili Powder
  • ▢ 1 1/2 Tablespoon Ground Cumin
  • ▢ 1 Tablespoon Smoked Paprika plus 1 teaspoon
  • ▢ 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • ▢ 2 teaspoons Oregano
  • ▢ 1/8 teaspoon Coriander
  • ▢ 2 teaspoons Onion Powder
  • ▢ 1 Tablespoon Fine Sea Salt plus 1/2 teaspoon
  • ▢ 2 teaspoons Fresh Ground Black Pepper
  • ▢ 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
  • ▢ 1/8 teaspoon Cayenne

Method
 

  1. Add all ingredients to a jar and shake or stir to combine.
  2. Store in a dark cupboard for up to two years.
