Method
- Fill a tall glass with ice.
- Pour over the tequila and the Wilson’s Ginger Flavoured Lime Juice.
- Top with the chilled tonic water and stir gently — don’t stir hard or you’ll knock the fizz out.
- Drop in the cucumber slices and serve with a lime wedge on the side, if using.
Notes
Use a blanco tequila here — it’s cleaner and more citrus-forward than a reposado or añejo, and it pairs better with the ginger and tonic.
For a non-alcoholic version, skip the tequila and top up with extra tonic or sparkling water. The cucumber and ginger lime still carry the drink.
Keep the tonic water in the fridge before you start — warm tonic goes flat fast and the drink loses its lift.
