Braai Toasties
Ingredients:
- Bread (Your favourite)
- Wilson’s Peri Flavoured Oil
- Cheddar cheese, grated (2 cups for 4 sandwiches)
- Tomato, thinly sliced (1 large tomato for 4 sandwiches)
- Mixed herbs
- Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
- Chutney
Method:
Take 2 pieces of bread and spread some chutney on one side of each of the pieces of bread. Add your cheese, one slice of tomato, season with your herbs, salt and pepper and add your Onion Jam. Close the sandwich and now smear your Wilson’s Peri Flavoured Oil on the outside of your bread.
Place your sandwiches inside your rectangular braai grid and pop it on the braai. (Not on open flame, place when the braai is at the stage where you would add your chicken)
Braai the sandwiches until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, about 3 minutes per side.
